As I was heading out to make sure the pigs were bedded down and lock the chickens up for the night, I saw the sunset was starting to look exceptional so I picked up the camera on my way. It was the right decision as this is what greeted me when I reached the pig huts.
The colours changed and deepened by the second, while I and the camera struggled to capture the best of them.
As I walked back towards the steading, I glanced back over my shoulder to see this last flash of light. Fortunately, I still had the camera switched on and had just enough time to capture the moment. A second or two after the shutter closed, the light went. Normally, winter sunsets are the best but spring can still give us a stunning display, too.

Oh, my goodness, how beautiful! Sunsets are so hard to photograph well, but you’ve gotten them right. Stunning. Thanks for posting them.
lovely
Those are cool, Stoney!!
Unquestionably the prettiest shots of pig huts I have ever seen. There are some great rewards for being aware of the world around you, aren’t there?
