We don't see them around here much anymore even though we live very close to a large park, have a small wood close by and have a good few trees backing our garden. I find that being more in tune with the rhythms of the year I can fully appreciate the pagan traditions around this time of the year. It's primeval, ingrained by millennia. I couldn't cope with the weather you do, but then that's one reason I'm out here and not in Scotland or north Wales. :-D Spring is a real upper isn’t it?
