Beware the bean-shìdh of the roads

I’d cycled the Wee ‘Un in to nursery on the trike and was wending my way homeward when I found myself faced by oncoming traffic while a couple more vehicles drove up behind me.

Out here, that’s a traffic jam but I have a well-rehearsed procedure for minimising the risk.

I maintain my riding position, somewhere between the primary and secondary riding position due to the nature of the narrow road plus the width of the trike, while leaving enough room for the oncoming vehicles to clear me.
