Berkshire boars available
10 01 2008
We continue to have three birth-notified Berkshire boars available, two from one litter and one from another. As we have a lengthy waiting list for birth-notified gilts and pedigree animals from the litter farrowed on 2 January (due to wean between 27 February and 12 March), these will be the last weaners available until late May/early June.

Two of the boars are nine weeks old, one is eight weeks, but the younger one is actually the second largest in size.

While we’d prefer to sell the boars as a trio, we do have a further nine-week-old boar that could be used to make up two pairs or one quartet of weaners. He’s slightly smaller than the other three and is currently inside keeping the runt of the litter company. The runt is inside to help his growth rate. While we’d like to organise their sale fairly quickly, we can keep them on here until they’re 15-16 weeks old if buyers need time to organise shelter, fencing and the like. (Board would need to be paid to cover feed and straw.) If anyone is interested in buying the three, a pair or a quartet, please use the contact form to email us.

All sold.
