When I went out to lift some vegetables to make soup yesterday evening, little did I realise I was about to discover the dreaded alien parsnip. I’d lifted some carrots and turnips, plus a single normal parsnip, and then found this monster. The Wee ‘Un promptly declared it an alien parsnip from Mars and shot off with it, waving it vigorously and making laser sounds! After lifting another normal parsnip, I headed inside with my haul of vegetables to find the Wee ‘Un and his alien friend were still in full Martian invasion mode…
