How to marshall jets properly

I’ve seen jets marshalled a few times, but nothing like this! I wonder if the Aussies can do as well? Although I suspect there will be few takers for the final scenes at RAF Lossiemouth in winter…

Class 4A, Mitchelton State School, Queensland

I wasn’t always a scruffy, old swineherd. I’ve been sorting through some photos and paperwork that my Dad sent to me, and thought I’d put one on the blog. This is Class 4A at Mitchelton State School, in Queensland, Australia, back in 1975. The male teacher was the school principal, Mr Sharp, who retired when he was well into his 70s and then died a few weeks later. As for which of the sprogs is me, make a guess (click through for the larger version of the photo).

While eating my lunch, I browsed through the stats for this blog, paying particularly attention to the search engine terms that have been used to find it.

There are always a few odd ones, but this one made me stop and laugh.

Back to school and back in the saddle

The boys in the snow with the trike

The Christmas school holidays have ended in Scotland, plus it’s almost eight weeks since I broke my collarbone, so it was time to get back on the trike for the nursery run.

Of course, it was never going to be easy as that’s not the Stonehead way. Oh, no…
