Helmets for the boys
2 12 2007
The Other Half and I decided to spend some of the donated money for cycle safety gear on new helmets for the boys. Their existing helmets are just about too small (they both have 55.5cm heads in 56cm child helmets) so we thought it best to get them new helmets that should last another year or two.
The only problem was their heads are rather on the large side, so that meant putting them in youth helmets (11 years and up) as these start at 56cm! The youth helmets also have a much better adjustment system so we were able to get a good fit from the off. The Wee ‘Un chose blue, his favourite colour, while the Big Lad immediately opted for orange flames. Again, thanks for the help.

Cool boys!
Looking good boys. A big happy birthday to you Stoney! Have a great year.
Saw this, and thought of you

Thanks for that. Although I confess I shuddered when I read “Govt/ local authority targets should be set for modal share for travel to school”. We all know what government targets are like.
