Perhaps the Greeks were right about centaurs

One of the delights of being housebound with injuries is having the time to make all manner of interesting calculations about things that no normal person considers.

With daytime television failing to hold my attention for more than 30 seconds, the boys entertaining themselves and no new books to read, I decided to find out just what my cycling involves and how much power I produce.

More press coverage of the hit and run

The Press & Journal, our morning daily newspaper, has also taken up the police media appeal to see if witnesses can be found to last week’s hit and run.

Press & Journal coverageThe photographer, who came out yesterday, was keen to get a photo of me looking pained while also featuring the trike against a road backdrop. I think he got what he wanted.

Given the dearth of people on Western Road last Wednesday, I’d be surprised if someone does come forward, but you never know.

At the very least, it’s good coverage of the trike although the accident might put some people off cycling a trike with children on board.
