Back outside

The Wee ‘Un and I moved Delilah and her litter to their outside quarters today. He was on gate duty while I carried pairs of piglets from the byre out to the maternity pen, then did the same while I walked Delilah out. The Wee ‘Un may only be four, but he can be relied on to stay at the gate, opening it when told, closing it when told and keeping himself in the safe place throughout. He’s definitely a farm boy. And just as we finished moving the pigs, who should turn up? The Other Half, who could just breeze in and check over “her” pigs!

Pigs are smart - the piglets were only in the pen for five minutes before discovering the warmest, most comfortable spot was inside the arc. They all trooped in, found a comfortable corner, settled down and went to sleep. Sorted.
