So, where does food come from then?

I’ve just read a story on the BBC News website that leaves me wondering where people think food comes from.

A survey confirmed what I’ve known for years - a huge number of British people are totally disconnected from food production.

While I wasn’t surprised to find that 22% of the people surveyed didn’t know that sausages and bacon originated from farms or that 47% didn’t know where oats came from, I was still amazed to learn half the people didn’t know beef originated from farms!
