I’ve been flat out today trying to get a load of work done, start the party preparations for Sunday and keep the boys out of mischief while the Other Half disappears for the evening on a “work do”.
The day started with the usual chores, but as soon as the Big Lad was off on the school bus it was off to the shops with the Wee ‘Un.
First stop was Norvite, the feed merchant just down the road, where they insisted on charging me £2.98 a bag for barley - even though the displayed price was £2.62.
