Meet Graham

Graham, the pedigree Berkshire boar

We finally have a pedigree Berkshire boar after a journey of 13 hours, 20 minutes to collect him and bring him back to the croft. Graham, as he’s known, came from a farm between Grantshouse and Duns, in the Scottish Borders. He’s already proved to be an amiable, easy -going fellow who’s very hard to get out of bed! He fell asleep in the livestock trailer, couldn’t be bothered to get up for the water breaks and tried to burrow deeper into his bedding in the trailer when we tried to unload him. He’s now in quarantine quarters for a week before going outside to join the girls.
And yes, his name is spelled the Scottish way.

What a strange looking fellow; donkey ears and no front legs ….. chuckle….. !

I hope he meets your expectations folks.

I think I can forgive the spelling, but that is a very apt name for a pig who likes his sleep.
