Why is it that on the days when you have jobs that can’t be put off, you get weather where it really would be better to delay the job?

I had to go over to Inverurie today to collect the three pig carcasses from Scotch Premier Meat Ltd and then deliver them to Gordon Rhind, the butcher in Huntly who cuts them up for us.

Big vegetables are not best

I wonder if anyone in the UK is doing similar research to that being done at the University of Texas where it has been revealed that the trend toward bigger, faster growing crops is resulting in vegetables with lower levels of nutrients.

According to ABC News, six of the 13 major nutrients found in fruits and vegetables have declined substantially in recent decades.
