The first of our chickens arrived today, four rare breed Scots Greys aged 12 weeks.
We have three hens and a cockerel, who we’re keeping together for the moment but he’ll be moving into a cockerel box at some point.
Depending on how our hatching programme goes, we’ll keep three cockerels from the different lines plus about 18 hens. Read the rest of this entry »
